Espolòn Añejo Bourbon Barrel Finish Tequila

Espolòn Añejo Tequila is crafted from 100% blue Weber agave in Los Altos de Jalisco, aged for ten months in new American oak barrels, and finished for at least two months in used Wild Turkey bourbon barrels. The dual-wood maturation yields rich notes of roasted agave, butterscotch, dried fruit, and toasted oak with a bourbon-like warmth. Sip neat in a snifter or use it for an extraordinary Oaxaca Old Fashioned.

This listing is for the 750 ml size. At a 1-ounce cocktail measure, that volume provides approximately 25 pours before allowing for spills or a different recipe.

For a Margarita variation, shake 1 ounce of tequila with three-quarters of an ounce of fresh lime juice and half an ounce of orange liqueur over ice, then strain into a glass with fresh ice. Taste before adding syrup. The sweetness of the orange liqueur and the sharpness of the lime determine how much, if any, extra sweetener you need. A partial salt rim lets you choose salted or unsalted sips.

For a longer drink, use grapefruit soda, ice and a squeeze of lime. Add the soda after the other ingredients and stir gently to preserve its bubbles.
