Sea Ice Vodka

Sea Ice is an unflavored vodka bottled at 80 proof. Try it with soda and fresh citrus, or use it as a base for a Bloody Mary. Keeping the mixer cold and the seasoning measured makes it easier to adjust the drink without adding more alcohol.

This listing is for the 1.75 L size. At a 1-ounce cocktail measure, that volume provides approximately 59 pours before allowing for spills or a different recipe.

For a simple long drink, measure 1 ounce into a tall glass filled with ice, add 3 ounces of chilled soda water and finish with a squeeze of lime. Stir gently. This gives you a clear starting point for adjusting the amount of mixer. If you prefer a sweeter drink, substitute part of the soda with cranberry juice or lemonade rather than adding syrup immediately.

For a Bloody Mary variation, combine 1 ounce of vodka with 3 ounces of tomato juice over ice. Add lemon juice, black pepper and a little Worcestershire sauce gradually, tasting as you go. Keep hot sauce separate until you have found the seasoning balance you prefer. Measure the ingredients so you can repeat the result, and choose a modest garnish that leaves room to stir the drink.
