Barton Vodka

Barton Vodka is a vodka option for simple mixed drinks. Try soda and fresh citrus, or use it as the vodka component in a Mule or Bloody Mary. Measure the mixer separately and taste before adding more sweetness or seasoning. Fresh lemon or lime makes an uncomplicated finishing touch.

This listing is for the 375 ml size. At a 1-ounce cocktail measure, that volume provides approximately 12 pours before allowing for spills or a different recipe.

For a simple long drink, measure 1 ounce into a tall glass filled with ice, add 3 ounces of chilled soda water and finish with a squeeze of lime. Stir gently. This gives you a clear starting point for adjusting the amount of mixer. If you prefer a sweeter drink, substitute part of the soda with cranberry juice or lemonade rather than adding syrup immediately.

For a Bloody Mary variation, combine 1 ounce of vodka with 3 ounces of tomato juice over ice. Add lemon juice, black pepper and a little Worcestershire sauce gradually, tasting as you go. Keep hot sauce separate until you have found the seasoning balance you prefer. Measure the ingredients so you can repeat the result, and choose a modest garnish that leaves room to stir the drink.
