Burnett's Vodka

Burnett’s uses quadruple distillation and triple charcoal filtering for its vodka. Try it with soda and citrus, or as the vodka base in a Mule or Bloody Mary. The brand offers more than one proof, so measure your recipe using the strength on the bottle rather than assuming all Burnett’s vodka is identical.

For a simple long drink, measure 1 ounce into a tall glass filled with ice, add 3 ounces of chilled soda water and finish with a squeeze of lime. Stir gently. This gives you a clear starting point for adjusting the amount of mixer. If you prefer a sweeter drink, substitute part of the soda with cranberry juice or lemonade rather than adding syrup immediately.

For a Bloody Mary variation, combine 1 ounce of vodka with 3 ounces of tomato juice over ice. Add lemon juice, black pepper and a little Worcestershire sauce gradually, tasting as you go.
