Casamigos Añejo Tequila

Casamigos Añejo matures in American white oak, developing caramel and vanilla character alongside agave and spice. Try a small pour neat or over a large cube. In a tequila Old Fashioned, use bitters and a restrained amount of agave syrup so the barrel character remains noticeable.

For a Margarita variation, shake 1 ounce of tequila with three-quarters of an ounce of fresh lime juice and half an ounce of orange liqueur over ice, then strain into a glass with fresh ice. Taste before adding syrup. The sweetness of the orange liqueur and the sharpness of the lime determine how much, if any, extra sweetener you need. A partial salt rim lets you choose salted or unsalted sips.

For a longer drink, use grapefruit soda, ice and a squeeze of lime. Add the soda after the other ingredients and stir gently to preserve its bubbles.
